Donald L. Nye, P.E.

Principal/Mechanical Engineer

Don has worked in the engineering field for over 30 years, the past six years as a Principal at E&C. Don leads and participates in programming, design and construction administration for both new and renovation projects. He also assists in establishing M/E/P design guidelines, cost control, scheduling and code compliance on major projects. Don graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Rock Chalk Jayhawk! He is a member of the National Society of Professional Engineers, the Texas Society of Professional Engineers and the American Society of Heating, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). As an ASHRAE member, Don has served as Houston Chapter President, Region VIII Membership Chair, on the Houston Board of Directors, and he is now serving as Chaplain for the Houston Chapter. Outside the office, Don is a marathoner (10 completed so far) and he enjoys working on the 1965 Shelby Cobra replica he built, fishing, and being Pappy to five very special grandchildren.
