University of Texas Health Science Center-Houston
New Dental Building

E&C provided the mechanical and plumbing design for the new 300,000 square foot Dental School Building for the University of Texas health Science Center – Houston. Design for the building included multiple vacuum systems to serve clinics, teaching labs, and a surgery center. Mechanical systems were reviewed by providing life cycle cost analysis to the owner for their final decisions about energy recovery, zoning types and outside air pretreat systems. The new 6 story Dental building was a $155 million project, one of the largest for UTHSC-H.
