E&C provided the engineering/design, cost estimates and construction services to upgrade sixteen existing 125 HP air handling units and six existing 100 HP air handling units to include high efficiency filters and motors and new variable speed drives. Subsequent phases upgraded 1 million square feet of office and lab air flow control, terminal distribution and controls. All air handling units and all remaining air distribution systems were cleaned and modified to IAQ standards. E&C provided the analysis and documentation to justify two $4.9 million LoanSTAR grants.
