When Philo & Wilke relocated to their new office space they wanted a flexible, comfortable HVAC system that did not clutter the high ceilings detract from the appearance of the space. After system discussions with clients, other Architects, engineers and employees, they decided on an underfloor air system and discussed the options, costs and complexity of this system with E&C to better understand the ramifications and concerns during construction. The air system was designed and P&W investigated "build to suite lease back" systems. They settled on a supplier that then worked with E&C to meet the comfort and quality level established by the design documents. The space has met all expectations and has provided a comfortable, flexible space appreciated by the employees and owners alike.
