Principal/Mechanical Engineer

Heather started in the engineering field over 15 years ago and has been happy to spend the past 14 years with E&C as a Principal and mechanical engineer. Heather works directly with clients on projects from conception through design to startup and warranty. Her responsibilities include preparing mechanical documents, system design and performance, compiling mechanical specifications, energy cost analysis, field inspection. Heather earned her Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois, where she met her husband Brett. She also earned a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University. Heather is a member of the National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA), American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) and the M/IE Board at the University of Illinois. She is also a LEED 2.0 Accredited Professional and a Certified Energy Manager. Outside of work you will find Heather wherever her family is. Heather’s pride and joy, her two wonderful children, take her from the dance studio to wrestling tournaments and gymnastics meets and everywhere in between.
